You Are Truly Cherished | Your Nightly Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving us with a love that never fades or fails. In a world that often measures worth by performance or popularity, remind us that our value is found in You alone. May this person watching today feel seen, known, and cherished by You. Wrap them in peace. Speak truth to their heart. Remind them they are Your masterpiece—chosen, beloved, and never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen. This heartfelt devotional is a reminder from Scripture that God's love is personal, constant, and unshakable. You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. The Creator of the universe knows your name, sees your struggles, and cherishes your heart—even when the world overlooks you. Drawing from powerful Bible verses like Isaiah 43:1, Psalm 139, and Romans 5:8, this message gently walks you back to truth: You are loved not because of what you do, but because of who God is. Whether you’re facing rejection, insecurity, or just a difficult season, let this be your reminder: You are deeply seen. You are endlessly valued. You are truly cherished.

Reporter On Live TV Drops Everything to Help During Emergency

A reporter on live TV dropped everything to help during an emergency. The young man was on air when he unexpectedly disappeared to rush over and assist someone in need. Watch the short clip to see the moment and to learn what happened that caused the reporter to rush to the scene.

Everyone is familiar with local television news broadcasts. Decades ago, they were the best and, besides a newspaper, one of the only sources of information. In those years, people would huddle around the television just as the broadcast was starting, not wanting to miss a second of the news and information being dispensed by the anchors.

Now, the internet exists, where information is available in real time, and waiting for a television news broadcast is unnecessary. They will just tell you information that’s been on the internet for three or four hours, anyway, right? Regardless, there are still people, for some reason, who watch local and national television news broadcasts. Well, those watching a Chicago station’s broadcast didn’t get just information easily found on the internet, but witnessed something completely unexpected.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a reporter is live on air giving his report when he runs off camera in the middle of it, making for an awkward situation. He can be heard saying, “Oh shoot,” before he sets down his microphone and disappears.

So, what happened? Well, it turns out the reporter was concerned about someone who was involved in a horrific accident and ran over to check on them.

Later in the broadcast, the reporter returns and explains that a runner and a cyclist collided, sending the cyclist over their bike and onto the ground. The cyclist hit the ground so hard that their helmet broke. The cyclist was said to be up and moving around following the incident.

While his unexpected exit may have made for an awkward few moments, the reporter’s concern and assistance during that emergency are admirable, and something we could use more of in this world.

Philippians 2:4 “Not looking everyone to his private good, but keeping in mind the things of others.”

Kindhearted Mailman Comforts Woman During Difficult Moment

A kindhearted mailman comforted a woman during some difficult moments. The government worker showed her some unexpected kindness and love following a loss. Watch the short but powerful clip to see how the mailman comforted her during a heartbreaking situation.

We are often blessed in life with happy and joyous occasions worth celebrating and remembering. However, not every moment will make you want to jump for joy. Unfortunately, loss is a part of life. It’s an aspect that no one enjoys, but sadly, it’s inevitable, as is the hurt, heartache and sorrow that often accompany a loss.

For those who have experienced those deep, dark valleys, it’s one of the worst experiences imaginable—nothing to wish on your worst enemy. But even when we are hurting and in despair, the Lord is still in control and offers comfort and healing. He remains faithful and loving, never leaving our side as He walks through those deep, dark valleys with us.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a mailman is a beautiful, shining example of the type of love and comfort the Lord provides during our times of sorrow and despair. Sitting on her steps as the mailman approached, the woman had recently lost her beloved pet. The mailman was delivering her the animal’s ashes.

However, instead of simply handing her the package and continuing his route, he sits beside her.  He did not want to leave her while she was hurting and distraught. Soon after sitting down, the woman, overcome with emotion, leaned over and hugged the kind and loving mailman.
While the man did not say a word, what he did meant the world to that woman in her time of immense grief and pain.

“Thank you so much,” the woman says through tears and sniffles.

What a beautiful example of kindness, gentleness and love when someone needed it the most.

Psalm 23:4 “Yes, though I go through the valley of deep shade, I will have no fear of evil; for you are with me, your rod and your support are my comfort.”

Rebecca St. James and Husband Open Up About Marriage, Patience and God’s Faithfulness

Rebecca St. James and her husband opened up about marriage, patience and God’s faithfulness. The Christian music artist shared how she believed for the longest time that she would never find someone to marry and how she eventually had to give that fear and struggle to God. Watch the short but powerful interview to hear Rebecca and her husband discuss their marriage and learning to rely on God and His faithfulness.

No one wants to live life by themselves. How lonely and miserable an existence would that be? Human beings are not made to be islands but are instead designed for relationships with one another. Through these interactions, these relationships, human beings help, uplift, encourage and celebrate one another. Relationships make life a much fuller and richer experience.

That’s precisely God’s design and intention for a marriage relationship. When one is down, the other is there to uplift and encourage. The other can provide healing and comfort when one is sick and suffering. Both are made better because of the other. A marriage relationship, when God is kept at the center of it, is one of life’s most incredible experiences.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Rebecca mentions how she didn’t believe she would ever get married. For the longest time, she felt God had someone specifically for her, but she started to lose hope when that person never materialized in her life. She eventually came to the point where she had to surrender that fear and worry to God.

Cubbie Fink, Rebecca’s eventual husband, was in a similar position. He started to lose hope that the person God had chosen for him was not out there. Nearing this point of throwing in the towel on love and marriage, Cubbie and Rebecca met in Los Angeles and immediately hit it off.

After falling in love and getting married, Rebecca and Cubbie encountered heartbreaking challenges regarding having children. Rebecca shared that she had experienced two miscarriages. Around this time, Cubbie also lost his job, and his mother became sick.

However, through it all, Rebecca and Cubbie put their faith and trust in God, and learned that even during those painful and heartbreaking moments, God was still at work.

“And so, learning how to trust God in the middle of that pain, learning how to pursue each other when we both felt equally low, and equally in the pain, and in the winter,” she said. “And just learning to trust that God would redeem and He would restore, and He would be faithful. I think that there was so much richness and good in the winter, but when you’re in it, it’s hard to see.”

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us keep the witness of our hope strong and unshaking, for he is true who has given his word.”

A Prayer for God to Give You Compassion for Your Enemies | Your Daily Prayer

Loving your enemies may be one of the hardest commands in Scripture—but it’s also one of the clearest. In this powerful daily prayer video, we ask God for supernatural compassion and mercy for those who have hurt us, opposed us, or stood in conflict with us. Drawing from Jesus’ words in Matthew 5 and the example of His forgiveness from the cross, this prayer helps soften our hearts and align our response with God's heart. This prayer isn’t just for moments of deep betrayal—it’s for every moment we’re tempted to respond with resentment instead of love. 🙏 Prayer: God, Give Us Compassion for Our Enemies Lord, You see every wound, every offense, and every person who has caused pain in our lives. And yet, You call us not to return evil for evil, but to bless and forgive. Father, soften our hearts toward those who’ve hurt us. Help us remember that they, too, are made in Your image. Give us divine compassion, not in our strength but Yours. Remind us that forgiveness sets us free and that love disarms darkness. Use our kindness to lead others toward repentance and healing. We want to love like Jesus—even when it’s hard. Amen. #ForgivenessPrayer #LoveYourEnemies #ChristianForgiveness #DailyPrayer #PrayerForEnemies #LetGoOfHate #HealingPrayer #JesusTeachesLove #MercyOverJudgment #BiblicalForgiveness

A Prayer to Show Compassion | Your Daily Prayer

When life gets busy or our hearts grow weary, compassion can feel like a challenge instead of a calling. But as followers of Christ, we’re invited—commanded, even—to put on love, kindness, and mercy every single day. In today’s prayerful reflection, we ask God to soften our hearts, open our eyes, and equip us to live out His compassion toward others—even those who are difficult to love. Whether you're facing a relational strain, ministering to someone in pain, or simply trying to be more like Jesus in your daily walk, this prayer will guide your heart back to Christ’s example of perfect, sacrificial love. Heavenly Father, You are the God of mercy, full of grace and lovingkindness. Fill us today with Your compassion—not just a feeling, but a way of life. Help us to see the hurting, to hear the lonely, and to respond in love. When our patience wears thin or our flesh wants to retreat, remind us of Your Son, who loved the unlovable and reached for the rejected. Make us vessels of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Crowder Opens Up About the Powerful, Hopeful Message in ‘Still’

Crowder opens up about the powerful, hopeful message in his song, “Still.” The popular Christian music artist has a hit with his latest tune, and he shared how “Still” is a wonderful reminder about the loving God we serve, who is present no matter the circumstances.
Watch the but moving clip to listen to Crowder share the message in "Still," and how it’s something that we can hold onto regardless of what we’re going through.

You and I are not perfect. In fact, we are very far from perfect, and to take it a step further, perfection for us and every other human being is impossible. We all have our flaws, failures and blemishes. We will all and, most certainly do, stumble and fall.

Even after we realize we are sinners who need to repent, turn our lives over to Christ and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, we’ll still fail and stumble. We aren’t made perfect. Mistakes and errors will still be a part of our existence, but we are forgiven. Once forgiven, God doesn’t just turn His back and let us fend for ourselves. No, He continues working and molding us, making us into the person He wanted us to be all along.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Crowder shares this and more, which is the central message in his hit song, “Still.”

“I know life gets messy, and problems pile up, and sometimes it feels like we’re letting God down, but the truth is in our lowest moments, God is still working,” he said. “And this song’s a reminder that His grace doesn’t depend on us getting it right. He’s not waiting on perfection. He’s present in our pain, our doubts and our failures.”

Later in the clip, the Christian music artist shared that the song is for anyone struggling and wondering whether they are a failure or a lost cause in God’s eyes.

“So, this is a song for anybody who needs to know that you’re not alone, and God’s not done,” he added.

Philippians 1:6 “For I am certain of this very thing, that he by whom the good work was started in you will make it complete till the day of Jesus Christ:”

Lauren Daigle and Jamie MacDonald Discuss Their Powerful Song, ‘Desperate’

Lauren Daigle and Jamie MacDonald discussed their powerful new song, “Desperate.” The two talented Christian music artists explained why the song speaks to and means so much to them. Watch the short but impactful clip to hear what the two young women say about their tune, “Desperate.”

This world is a hopeless place, and, sadly, it is full of lost and broken people. Many are suffering and hurting, looking for anything that will alleviate their pain and sorrow, even for just a few seconds. They search near, far and everywhere in between, only to come up empty every time. Any “solution” they were to find would only be a temporary fix, a band-aid, and they’d be right back in the same, exact place shortly.

The only solution to any problem, issue or anything else that may ail this lost and broken world is Christ’s love, guidance, direction and forgiveness. Proceeding without it and attempting to go it alone on our own strength is a fool’s errand and will result in disappointment and disaster. Many people are in these desperate, seemingly hopeless positions. The only thing that can turn things around is Christ –the message of Lauren and Jamie’s powerful duet, “Desperate.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the two musicians discussed their tune, including what part of the song “stands out” to Lauren and how the tune helped Jamie process a massive loss in her life.

“’I need heaven,’ that’s the lyric that always stands out to me,” Lauren said. “That was the line, honestly, that when I heard the song, that I felt the most desperation on because I don’t know if it’s your voice, like, trembles there,” Lauren said. “Maybe it’s just the word need, like, expressing that I can’t do this by myself.”

Later in the clip, Jamie mentioned that she had recently lost her father, and writing the song was a therapeutic exercise for her.

“It was just, like, this low time in my life where I really hadn’t, like, grieved everything with the loss of my dad,” she said. “And so, when we wrote that song, I felt, like, ‘Man, these are the words I’ve needed for so long.’”

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Lucille Ball Shares the Surprising Origins of 'I Love Lucy'

Lucille Ball shares the surprising origin story of “I Love Lucy.” The comedy legend shares how the iconic and beloved television show almost did not happen. Watch the short but informative and surprising clip to hear Lucille Ball mention how the show eventually came together.

Everyone has a favorite television show. For some, that go-to program is a sitcom, while others may go the more dramatic and suspenseful route. Regardless of the genre, typically, it’s a show they can go back to whenever they are sick or feeling down and depressed. After a few moments with those characters and familiar storylines, you’re back to feeling like your old self.

However, as much as we love those programs, we don’t often get much or any background info on them. Why did this show make it to air when many others don’t? Who first came up with the show’s central premise? What were the show’s creators and producers thinking with this episode or character? Those are questions that many viewers never get answered when it comes to their favorite show.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the legendary Lucille Ball mentions how “I Love Lucy,” considered one of the greatest television shows of all time, almost did not happen. She says the network originally wanted the show filmed and produced in New York City, but Lucille was unwilling to move out to the Big Apple.

“They [the network] were impressed, and said, ‘Well, OK, and now come to New York and get to work,’” Lucille said. “And we said, ‘New York! We didn’t know you wanted us to come to New York. There’s no way.’”

She adds that she and her family had just bought a house in the Southern California area and were not packing up and moving across the country. The network threatened to drop the entire show, and Lucille was content with that if it meant moving to New York.

Then, after raising $5,000, Lucille says they bought the show, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
