We Are Messengers Inspire with Uplifting ‘Keep Your Head Up’ Performance

Check out this uplifting song, ‘Keep Your Head Up,’ from We Are Messengers. This inspiring and upbeat song is about finding joy in Jesus when you are enduring hardships and feeling weary. The lyrics encourage listeners to persevere through difficult times, reminding them that Jesus is always there for you.

‘When you're lonely and the heartache is bearing down
When a friend feels like the one thing that can't be found
And the fire that you once had is burning out, oh don't quit now
I promise it won't always feel this way, joy is rising and sorrow's gonna fade’

‘Keep Your Head Up’ was written by Darren Mulligan and Jeff Pardo. The story behind the song stems from Darren’s own experience of emotional and physical exhaustion. He realized he had been equating joy with worldly happiness and material things rather than finding it in his faith.

“I think that that experience of suffering over the years—and hardship and disappointment—has led me to lean into Jesus, into who He really is. And the more that I’ve gotten to know Him, the more my anxiety and my neediness and my desire for sinfulness has just disappeared, until I find myself in this strange place of peace and restfulness,” shared Darren Mulligan, the lead singer of We Are Messengers. “My joy is not a happy clappy, cheap joy. It’s a joy that’s been purchased by the finished work of Jesus on a cross, primarily, and through my wanting to follow Him as He walks. Learn to walk in the old rhythms of grace, and you’ll find rest for your weary souls.”

The song ‘Keep Your Head Up’ is featured on We Are Messengers' fourth studio album titled Where The Joy Is, which aims to radiate the joy that comes from living a life rooted in Christ. We hope that you enjoyed listening to it today!

Dog Helps Save Canine Friend During Medical Emergency

A dog helped to save its canine friend during a medical emergency. The animal sensed something was terribly wrong with its buddy and, amazingly, responded in a way you must see to believe. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to see what one animal did when its buddy had a seizure.

Animals are, without a doubt, some of the best creatures on the planet. Who could or would want to argue otherwise? I guess someone could take the other side of that topic, but they would be incredibly wrong. Animals are cute, cuddly and are some of the best friends you’ll ever hope to make.

Dogs especially occupy a special place in most people’s hearts. They are loyal to a fault, love unconditionally and are thrilled to see you when you walk through that door. They aren’t referred to as man’s best friend for nothing. But in addition to being great companions and furry, four-legged family members, dogs are incredibly smart beings. A clip posted on YouTube shows that one dog, a Boxer named Reggie, knew exactly what to do when its buddy, Yogi, a French bulldog, had a seizure.

Footage shows Reggie and Yogi in the living room doing what appears to be playing, possibly even wrestling, but that is not the case at all. Yogi, who has Epilepsy, has just undergone a seizure, is not moving and appears to be completely lifeless. Watching from the outside, it seems to be a tragic scene. However, Reggie instinctively knew what to do and began frantically rolling Yogi back and forth across the floor in a desperate attempt to get the dog moving once again.

“If it wasn’t for Reggie, you know, moving him all around and being here, I would have come home to, you know, him not being alive,” Sarah McCardle said.

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

A Prayer for Christians to Unite in a Divided World | Your Daily Prayer

In this episode, Christine F. Perry reflects on a difficult conversation with a friend that revealed just how much pride can get in the way of peace. Drawing from Hebrews 12:14–15 and the wisdom of Scripture, she shares how the Holy Spirit calls believers to radical humility as the starting point for true unity in a divided world.

God Is with You in the Ordinary | Your Nightly Prayer

Life isn't always filled with mountain-top moments, big miracles, or clear signs from heaven. Sometimes, it’s just…ordinary. The laundry piles up, work is repetitive, the days blur together. But what if these quiet, everyday moments are exactly where God is working? In today’s episode of Your Daily Prayer, we’re reminded that God’s presence is not reserved for the spectacular — He is intimately involved in the daily, mundane rhythms of life. From making lunch to sitting in traffic, the Lord is near, shaping our hearts, building our trust, and inviting us to walk with Him moment by moment. 📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23 This prayer and devotional will encourage you to stop striving for “more” and start recognizing God’s hand in your now. 🙏 Prayer: Father, Thank You for being the God of both the miraculous and the mundane. Sometimes we chase excitement or clarity and forget that Your presence meets us in the simplest places — folding clothes, making breakfast, or walking the dog. Open our eyes to see You in the routine. Give us peace and purpose as we serve You through our daily responsibilities. Let our faith grow deeper not only in storms or celebrations but in steady, ordinary moments. Help us live each day — however uneventful — as an act of worship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Finding God’s Strength When You’re Emotionally Drained | Your Nightly Prayer

Are you feeling emotionally exhausted—like you're running on empty with nothing left to give? You're not alone. In this encouraging episode of Your Daily Prayer, we invite you to pause and find comfort in God’s unfailing strength. When your spirit is weary and your heart feels heavy, God meets you there. Drawing from the powerful promise of Isaiah 40:29–31, this devotional reminds us that we don’t have to fake strength. We can bring our weakness to the Lord and watch Him renew our energy, restore our soul, and lift us up in His perfect timing. 📖 “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak… those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:29–31 Whether you’re navigating burnout, emotional overwhelm, grief, or just feeling spiritually dry—this prayer is for you. 🙏 Prayer: Father God, You know when our souls feel tired—when we’re overwhelmed, burdened, and emotionally drained. Thank You that You never grow weary, and You never ask us to carry our burdens alone. Remind us today that we can lean on You—not our own strength. Help us surrender every anxious thought and weary emotion into Your hands. Restore what has been depleted, renew what has withered, and speak peace over our restless hearts. Thank You for being our refuge, our anchor, and our strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanks for Warm, Sunny Days | Your Daily Prayer

As the sun rises high and summer blankets the world in warmth and color, we pause to offer a simple but powerful prayer of gratitude. 🌞 This short devotional prayer is a moment to thank God for the joy of sunny days—moments filled with light, laughter, nature’s beauty, and opportunities to slow down and reflect. Whether you’re on vacation, walking in your neighborhood, or simply soaking in some rays through the window, this prayer reminds us that even the sunshine is a gift from above. ☀️ “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 🌼 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” — Psalm 19:1 🙏 Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for warm, sunny days that bring joy to our hearts and rest to our souls. Thank You for the light that lifts our spirits, the beauty of Your creation, and the slow, sacred moments that allow us to be present. We praise You for the laughter of summer gatherings, the smell of blooming flowers, the songs of birds, and the peaceful rhythm of longer days. May we not take these blessings for granted. Help us use this season to draw near to You, breathe deeply, and reflect on Your goodness. In every ray of sun, may we be reminded of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Child’s Sweet Advice for Her Mom Will Melt Your Heart

A child’s sweet advice for her mother will melt your heart. The young lady had some suggestions for what her mom could do to help her destress and calm down. Watch the short but sweet clip to hear the little lady’s adorable advice for her mother.

Everyone has work and family obligations that pull them in 100 different directions on a daily basis. Most people agree that there is not enough time in the day to complete everything. If only our days were extended an hour or two, right? Since that doesn’t appear to be a possibility, many people have become experts at multitasking.

Unfortunately, even the best multitaskers may not be able to complete all their tasks and meet every demand and obligation. Understandably, this can and does lead to stress and anxiety for many people. But even when the stress becomes overwhelming, it’s good to remember that the sun will come out tomorrow. The world will not end if we don’t get to this or that obligation. In a clip posted on YouTube, that was the message a child tried to get across to her mother.

The video begins with a mom carrying her 5-year-old daughter as they walk through the kitchen. As they come to a stop, it’s clear that Mom is stressed and worried about something, but the child has some sage advice for her.

“I just want you to breathe and be calm,” the little girl says. “Get your Kindle or, like, get a real book and, like, make some coffee and, like, bring it outside. And, like, calm down and chill, and we can hang out together.”

We don’t know what bothered Mom and had her on edge, but after hearing those sweet and loving words, she must have felt better instantly and at ease. That’s advice we’d all be better off remembering when our stress and anxiety levels increase and become worrisome.

Young Business Owner Gives $1,000 to Church and Thanks God for His Success

A young business owner gave $1,000 to his church and thanked God for his success. This hardworking and entrepreneurial young man is thoroughly impressive, yet he remains humble and understands who is responsible for his success. Watch the short but powerful clip to learn about this young business owner and the tear-jerking thing he did to help out his church.

Everyone wants instant success, and with that highly desired, sought-after success, they hope a fair amount of money follows. Of course, that's not typically what happens. Most individuals don't simply wake up and are handed tons of cash. People who live in the real world understand that before success, a lot of hard work and dedication come first. That doesn't sound like much fun, right?

Children who learn and understand that hard work and dedication are necessary to achieve anything worthwhile will be much better off than their peers who have difficulty grasping this lesson. Parents who don't teach and show their youngsters this are only doing them a disservice. They will learn it one way or the other, eventually.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man, 12-year-old Quentin Hines Jr., knows all about hard work. He has his own business, which allows him to do something he absolutely loves: mowing lawns.

"I really, really love it," Quentin said. "I really love it."

The young man said his ultimate dream is to get a job mowing the lawn at one unexpected location.

"Ever since I was younger, I always wanted to get a contract with the Charlotte airport," he said. "And, like, sometimes when I go out there, they will have the mowers out there. So, I would like stand there for a while."

As the clip mentions, the young man's business is growing rapidly, and he's acquiring new customers at an impressive rate. But he's not keeping all his profits for himself. He gave $1,000 to his church to help it pay off its mortgage.

"When you put things into the world, it always finds a way to come back to you," he said.

Even with all of his success, the 12-year-old business owner understands who is ultimately responsible for it.

"It mostly feels like God really just opened a lot of opportunities for me," he said. "And He really just showed me that this is what He wants me to do on this Earth. I love it, and I will never stop, never."

Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, do it readily, as to the Lord and not to men;"

One Man’s Heartwarming Act After Hearing Someone’s Bike Was Stolen

One man's unexpected heartwarming act after he heard someone's bike was stolen will bring you to tears and momentarily restore your faith in humanity. It was likely that no one saw what was about to happen. Watch the short but powerful clip to witness the man's unbelievable act of kindness and love.

Kindness is in very short supply today. Ask anyone, and they will likely fully and completely agree with that statement. Far too many people have this dog-eat-dog mentality, where they are only concerned about themselves and couldn’t care else about anyone else. This selfish, uncaring, cold-hearted thinking is on full display nearly everywhere – social media, television news broadcasts, the workplace and in government.

While examples of people acting in a cruel and uncaring manner are plentiful, some still go out of their way to show others kindness and love. Gentle, caring and considerate people still exist, but their efforts don't get nearly enough attention. A clip posted on YouTube shows how one man responded when he learned that another person's bike had recently been stolen.

The video shows the inside of a restaurant and points out that a man's bike was stolen while he was enjoying his breakfast. What kind of person steals a bike? You have to be a special kind of evil to take someone else's bike or to steal anything, for that matter.

Well, while the man in the restaurant was the victim of a theft, little did he know he was about to be the recipient of a heartwarming, unbelievably kind and loving gesture. The video mentions that when someone in the restaurant heard about the bike theft, he went out and purchased a bike for the man, replacing the one that was stolen.

The kind gesture obviously meant a lot to the individual. After being presented with the bike, he turns to the camera and is all smiles!

Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you."

A Prayer for Those Damaged by Purity Culture | Your Daily Prayer

Purity culture left many believers with wounds—shame, fear, and distorted views of God’s love and grace. If you’ve ever struggled with feelings of worthlessness, regret, or fear because of your past or your body, this prayer is for you. In this gentle, Scripture-based devotional, we bring our hearts before the Lord and ask for healing—body, soul, and spirit. God's grace is bigger than our stories, and His love does not hinge on our perfection. You are not too far gone. You are not damaged goods. You are beloved. 📖 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." — Romans 8:1 📖 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." — Psalm 147:3 🙏 Prayer: *Father God, We come to You on behalf of those who carry the weight of shame, confusion, and spiritual hurt from purity culture. For the hearts that feel tarnished, rejected, or unloved—remind them of Your truth: that You see them, know them, and deeply love them. You are not ashamed of them. You are not disappointed. Heal what was twisted. Restore what was lost. Show each person that their value isn’t based on past choices but on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Remind them that purity is not about perfection, but about wholeness in You. Help us walk in grace, extend compassion to ourselves and others, and rewrite the narrative with Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.*

A Prayer for When Jesus Seems Asleep

Have you ever felt like Jesus was silent during your storm — like your prayers were met with stillness? You're not alone. This short devotional prayer brings biblical encouragement for the moments when God feels distant, yet His presence remains near. 📖 “Then He got up, rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.” — Luke 8:24 Whether you're navigating grief, uncertainty, anxiety, or exhaustion, take this moment to center your heart in prayer. When Jesus seems asleep, trust that He’s still in the boat — and still in control. 🙏 Prayer: Father God, When fear rises and the waves seem to crash louder than Your voice, remind us that You never leave us. Even when it feels like You are asleep, You are still Sovereign — still good — still God. Strengthen our faith in the silence. Give us peace when we don’t understand Your timing. Help us to rest not in what we see, but in who You are. Calm our hearts as You calmed the storm, and speak peace into every anxious thought. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Prayer of Confession and Repentance | Your Daily Prayer

Feeling spiritually stuck? Carrying the weight of hidden guilt? In today’s devotional prayer, author and podcast host Jaime Hampton (Praying Christian Women) gently guides us through a practice often neglected — but deeply healing: confession and repentance. Using Psalm 32:3–5, this prayer explores the emotional, physical, and spiritual toll of unconfessed sin — and the freedom that comes when we bring it to the Lord. Learn how biblical confession restores your joy, renews your purpose, and clears the path for a deeper walk with Christ. 📖 “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away… Then I acknowledged my sin… and you forgave the guilt of my sin.” — Psalm 32:3–5 (NIV) 🙏 Prayer: Heavenly Father, We come before You humbly, not hiding what You already see. We confess our sins — the ones we speak aloud and the ones we’ve tried to forget. Thank You that in Christ, we are not condemned but called to return. Forgive us, cleanse us, and renew our spirits. Where we have wandered, bring us home. Where we’ve hardened, soften our hearts. Teach us to walk in repentance, not shame — in freedom, not fear. And help us to model this grace in our families, churches, and communities. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Is your heart weary from disappointment? Are you quietly carrying burdens that feel too heavy to lift? May our faith not falter in the silence, but deepen in intimacy. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Jamie MacDonald’s Moving Testimony Will Touch Your Heart

Jamie MacDonald’s moving testimony will touch your heart. The Christian music artist shared her rough and painful upbringing and how God’s love transformed her and completely changed the direction of her life. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear Jamie’s testimony.

This world is a lost, broken and fallen place full of hurting, struggling people calling for help.
They are desperately searching near, far and everywhere for anything that might provide even the slightest bit of relief. People are looking for anything to give them hope in a hopeless, lost world.

Sadly, this search for hope and pain relief can and does send people to some pretty dark and hopeless places. However, no matter where we might go or what we may do, we are never too far from Him and His love. He can make the broken whole again and bring about beauty from ashes. In a clip posted on YouTube, Jamie shares how the Lord changed her life, gave her a purpose and direction, and provided her with comfort and healing.

Jamie admits that as a result of her rough and painful upbringing, she was broken and “never really felt loved as a kid.” This hurt, and her search for acceptance and love eventually led her to drop out of high school and join a gang, and she got into drugs and alcohol. She says that she “found a family in that atmosphere.”

But praise God that is not where Jamie’s story ends!

Jamie said the turning point happened when she saw some of her friends overdose and even die. One night, she prayed, “God, if You can get me out of here, I would love a new start. I would love to sing for You and live my life for You.”

The Lord answered her desperate plea, giving her a way out of that lifestyle. She eventually found and joined a church, became part of a missions ministry and even went to Africa for a month.

During that mission trip to Africa, Jamie found her love for music again. Not only did she find music again, but this also led her to find and reconcile with her biological father during the last few years of his life.

What a powerful testimony that demonstrates God’s unbelievable love, grace and mercy.

Hebrews 4:16 “Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.”

Walgreens Worker Steps in and Saves Woman from Costly Scam

A Walgreens worker stepped in and saved a woman from being the victim of a costly scam. The young man went above and beyond his job responsibilities to keep a customer from handling over a ton of money. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to see and hear what the young man did to help an elderly customer.

The world is often a mean, cruel and cold place. Nearly everywhere we look, we see evidence of that being the case – any television news broadcast and social media, for instance. Part of living in such a fallen and troubled environment means some people are out there determined to take advantage of others. They will use any vile means necessary to trick and swindle people out of good, hard-earned money.

A clip posted on YouTube tells of a woman who was about to become another scam victim. She was prepared to hand over hundreds of dollars to individuals as part of a scam. That was until one attentive and caring Walgreens employee, Cody, stepped in and took decisive action.
The young man mentioned that he recognized the woman as a regular customer. However, her behavior during this trip to the store was anything but regular.

“She was buying some gift cards for $500, which I thought was weird because I’d never seen her buy gift cards,” Cody said.

Cody also noticed a phone number from California continually calling the elderly woman. The woman admitted the individual calling was the person for whom she was purchasing the gift card.  Cody instantly understood that the elderly woman was being scammed, saving her from forking over hundreds of dollars.

Another woman in the store at the time, who saw Cody help the elderly woman avoid becoming the victim of a scam, was deeply moved by his actions.

“He could have just said, ‘This isn’t my problem,’ rang them up and sent her on her way,” she said. “And the fact that he recognized the scam and said, ‘I’m not, we’re not going to be a part of this. We’re stopping this right here,’ was just so wonderful to see.”

Cody added that he always thinks of his grandmother and would want someone to do the same for her if she were in a similar position.

Philippians 2:4 “Not looking everyone to his private good but keeping in mind the things of others.”
